    • Shifter failed one time, has worked every time since. Found that possible problem could be shift lock solenoid which is mounted on shift selector assembly. Have to buy assembly, solenoid does not come separate.
    • Install new Continuously Variable Transmission shift selector [ CVT]. Shift lock solenoid comes with assembly.
    • Change engine oil and filter. Perform 38 point inspection. Check battery. Rotate tires and inspect brakes.

    • Empty of freon, found large leak coming from discharge hose and orings at compressor fittings. Recommend new hose with orings. A/C intake actuator motor making noise and will soon so working. Recommend replacing drive belt. Also stater starting to drag, may need starter. Tire light on. Customer oked a/c hose with orings only.
    • Install new discharge hose with orings.
    • Evacuate and Recharge to Specs

    • Inspect vehicle for customers concern. Pressure test cooling system. Found the bypass hose near the distributor to be leaking. (Cannot chemical test cooling system. The coolant leak is too large. This hose needs replace first, before any further inspection, if any needed at all, can be done)
    • Change engine oil and filter. Perform 38 point inspection. Check battery. Rotate tires and inspect brakes.

    • Inspect vehicle for customers concern. Road test vehicle. Engine runs well at this time. Scan PCM for codes. One code stored at this time. P0420- Catalyst efficiency problem. Observe scan tool data. Front and rear oxygen sensors are switching the same. At this time recommend to replace the catalytic converter. Also, recommend to replace the front and rear oxygen sensors.
    • Replace faulty catalytic converter.
    • Replace front and rear oxygen sensors. (Labor included with catalytic converter replacement)

    • Replace faulty right front wheel nuts and studs.

    • Inspect vehicle for customers concern. Road test vehicle. There is a slight whining noise heard when slowing down, mostly from 10 mph to a stop. This noise heard is coming from the transmission and is to be considered normal. At this time, according to the fuel economy minder on the vehicle, the mileage is normal at this time. Around town driving should be 17-19 mpg and freeway should be between 27-30 mpg. These are realistic numbers for California driving. Scanned PCM for codes- No codes stored at this time. At this time the vehicle runs and drives very well.
