REPLACED THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLY, CLEARED MALFUNCTION CODE, PERFORMED A ROAD TEST AND "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT DID NOT RETURN.
Change engine oil and filter. Perform 38 point inspection. Check battery. Rotate tires and inspect brakes.

Check for coolant leak. Pressure test cooling system. Found leak at thermostat housing. Radiator is also seeping. Recommend thermostat housing assembly, radiator hoses and radiator assembly.
Replace thermostat housing assembly.
Replace upper and lower radiator hoses.

Replace rear brake pads and resurface the rotors.

Code scan pcm for codes. Found code stored PO456 small evaporative leak. Check vehicle history. Vehicle was just here for the exact same problem.
Perform smoke test for evaporative system leak from engine to fuel tank.. No leaks found at this time. Evaporative purge valves solenoid test. Found defective brand new part that we had just put in. ( Fuel vapor leak detection pump. ) Replaced fuel leak detection pump. Perform evaporative system test with scanner. Passed the test. Customer must drive vehicle for about 250 miles to get the monitors to clear.
