    • 38 Point AAA Maintenance inspection. Recommended services: Wiper blades. Right stoplight bulb. If fluids HAVE NOT been serviced, recommend to service all fluids. Needs engine and cabin air filters. Tires (Cracking inside tread). Serpentine belt. License plate bulbs. Radiator is original and starting to signs of a leak. Struts original and worn. Spark plugs??? Fuel injection service.

    • Inspect vehicle for customers concern. Road test vehicle. There is a slight whining noise heard when slowing down, mostly from 10 mph to a stop. This noise heard is coming from the transmission and is to be considered normal. At this time, according to the fuel economy minder on the vehicle, the mileage is normal at this time. Around town driving should be 17-19 mpg and freeway should be between 27-30 mpg. These are realistic numbers for California driving. Scanned PCM for codes- No codes stored at this time. At this time the vehicle runs and drives very well.

    • Low side freon pressure very high, compressor not pumping. Advised customer will have to replace compressor with orings, add a/c oil and recharge before we can do accurate test on rest of a/c system. customer oked repair. After installing new compressor, rechecked a/c system, no other a/c problems found.

    • Evacuate and Recharge to Specs
    • Install new cabin air filter

    • Low freon charge, added 8oz. 134a freon.A/C system cools but lower than normal air volume coming from vents. Recommend cabin air filter. Leak checked, did not find positive leak at this time. Did pick evaporate leak at times. May have to let leak get worse before we can find. Customer oked repairs.
