- Connected amp meter to check for draws. Found draw of 3.8 amps, should be around 0.05. This draw will drain battery over night. Disconnected battery power to alternator and amp draw went down to 0.07. Recommend replacing alternator and rechecking. Customer oked repair. After replacing the alternator, rechecked charging system and battery, charging system good but battery was no good. Battery is under AAA warranty. Will replace at no charge.
