CUSTOMER WILL BRING BACK VEHICLE IF "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT RETURNS.

INSPECTION FOUND MALFUNCTION CODE P0303 IGNITION COIL MISFIRE IN CYLINDER #3, RECOMMEND REPLACING IGNITION COILS AND FUEL INJECTION SERVICE.
REFILLED BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR AND LIGHT DID NOT RETURN.
REPLACED IGNITION COILS, CLEARED MALFUNCTION CODES, PERFORMED A ROAD TEST AND "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT DID NOT RETURN.

Check for transmission fluid leak. Found leak at electrical housing and oil pan gasket.
Replace transmission oil filter and pan gasket. Electrical housing bolt keeps spinning the nut that holds it in place is loose inside. Customer elected to leave it alone. Transmission fluid will continue to leak from electrical housing. Customer advised.

Found TSB on problem, possible shifter interlock or shifter assembly. Advised customer would need to remove assembly to confirm problem and need two and half hours labor to confirm problem and replace defective part. Customer oked further diagnosis and repair. Further inspection found shifter interlock to be broken, will replace and retest.
